Zach Braff and Rachel McAdams will star in The Last Kiss for Lakeshore Entertainment. The film will be directed by Tony Goldwyn (A Walk on the Moon) and the screenplay was written by Paul Haggis (the upcoming Clint Eastwood-directed Million Dollar Baby and Sandra Bullock headliner Crash.) Kiss is a romantic comic remake of the Italian film L'Ultimo Bacio. It focuses on a couple who live togehter and could be undone by questions of whether they are meant to be together. Filming will begin in April after Braff begins hiatus from Scrubs.
Both McAdams and Braff are having a breakthrough year. McAdams starred in back to back lauded sleeper hits Mean Girls and The Notebook while Braff wrote, directed and starred in the equally acclaimed indie Garden State.
(I chose a picture of Braff because there are limited amounts of pictures of Rachel McAdams that I haven't posted on my blog.)
