Gladiator actor, Joaquin Phoenix (doing a classic James Dean pose above), has announced his retirement from acting and his new focus on music. He starred as musician Johnny Cash in Walk the Line before and his portrayal of the true-to-life character seems to have rubbed into him. For that movie, he learned how to play the guitar and even sang with his own voice.There's little doubt about Phoenix's acting talents, but the question is whether he'll be just as successful as a musician as he was an actor. Does he look worried on the picture on the left? Well, if music does not work well for him, he can always go back to doing movies.
