In the movie Twilight, Kristen Stewart plays Bella Swan, a serious girl who falls for a vampire. The movie is for teens but it is sober and dark in mood, reminiscent of the classic Lost Boys of the eighties.Stewart, who typically poker-faced in her publicity photos (yes, she smiles in some), reflects on the seriousness of her character in these photos. Her deadpan yet alluring, "trademark" demeanor could have been why she was chosen to play Swan. But is she really this dead serious in real life... perhaps enough to fall for a vampire, like in the movie? Or is it just her public image?
